Children’s religious education is available to all members of the parish from pre-school to high school. Our children attend many different schools (public and Catholic), but the one thing all of our children have in common is Madalene Parish. This program provides opportunity for children to share in our Catholic heritage, rich in scripture, liturgy, doctrine and tradition, all of which form our children to be rooted in their faith. We provide many opportunities for our parishioners to use the various gifts that God has given them in both Religious Education and in fun activities and retreats.

Parents are the first teachers of their children in the ways of faith. At Madalene, we believe it is our obligation to support parents in this role. Our CCD classes help children learn more about their faith and become more fully a part of the community of faith.

At Church of The Madalene, all CCD classes are taught by volunteers that have been Virtus trained and have completed a background check; these volunteers are dedicated to assisting the children in spiritual growth and in deepening a love of our Catholic faith.
